AIRMAN600 ® Voice Communication System for Airport Tower

AIRMAN600

Aseman Tajhiz has over 15 years of experience in designing integrated management systems for radio and telephone communications, serving as the primary system supplier for the Air Traffic Control of Iranian airports. By 2023, AIRMAN600 will have equipped approximately 16 airport towers with the latest Voice Communication System. Consistently monitoring the recommendations of international research organizations and standards bodies, combined with a commitment to responding to user needs with technical and operational capabilities, AIRMAN600 is a fully digital Voice Communication Switching System (VCSS) for optimising communication in civil airports.

AIRMAN600 is comprised of a family of fully digital VCSS products, characterized by high modularity in terms of interfacing with various types of radio devices and telephone lines. Its fully fault-tolerant architecture, superior scalability, configurability, and ease of maintenance make it the most efficient and technologically advanced solution for communication management in airport environments.

One of the key features of AIRMAN600 is its configuration flexibility, which is made possible through its size-independent architecture. The system can be configured for installation in small control rooms, as well as large control centres with hundreds of operator workstations and radio/telephone links. This flexibility allows customers to upscale their AIRMAN600 installations during the system lifecycle, without incurring heavy initial costs to support future upgrades.

AIRMAN600‘s open architecture allows for system configurations to be extended at any time with new links or services, and/or additional operator workstations by seamlessly adding new interface cards without a loss of efficiency or outages affecting all elements involved in the upgrade.

AIRMAN600 systems are controlled by independent microcomputer operating units running dedicated firmware/software, which provides an absolute guarantee against a single point of failure that could potentially jeopardize overall system operations.
